The association has developed the "Brake Station" concept to promote proper braking skills for optimal motorcycle control, which can help prevent and avoid accidents. This concept stems from the importance of collision avoidance skills, a crucial element in preventing and reducing the severity of motorcycle accidents. In-depth accident studies by the Thailand Accident Research Center show that in over 48% of serious motorcycle accidents, riders did not brake or swerve before the collision. This reflects the importance of developing proper braking skills, appropriate vehicle control, as well as awareness of surrounding circumstances, accident anticipation, decision-making, and actions to avoid accidents.
The demonstration also included representatives from government agencies, partner networks, road safety experts, and the media, who observed the process and provided feedback and suggestions on the testing format. Considerations included safety, suitability of the area, and the feasibility of incorporating it into the driving test process for motorcycle license applications.
